  Teaching is a highly noble profession and one of the most stable career options. Teachers always a born to the social development and they acquire highly respectable space. They attempt not only to enhance the learner’s intellect and aptitude but also help them in creating a well-rounded personality. The demand of teachers is ever increasing all over the world. Earlier the demand was only limited to India but in the recent past it has been observed that hundreds of job opportunities have opened up in the international platform.

There has been a steep rise in the subjects including Mathematics and Science. As per research studies, job openings for teaching jobs have been projected as 15,00,000 to 25,00,000 only in the elementary and secondary schools. With so many jobs available at national and international level, it is not possible for the candidates to look out for the best option. The mankind has always regarded teachers as a boon to the society because it’s only a teacher who by making us of his/her intelligence, patience and wisdom attempts to not only polish the learners intellect and aptitude but also takes steps to shape up a multi-faceted personality.

 

Eligibility:

Nursery Schools: Nursery Teachers Training. Minimum qualification: 10+2

Middle Schools: Teachers Training Certificate (TTC) or its equivalent. Minimum qualification: 10+2

High Schools: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Minimum Qualification: Graduation

Colleges/Universities: Post Graduate Degree, preferably with Doctoral Degree. Also have to qualify the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC).

 

Job Opportunities:

Teaching jobs are regarded as the noblest of all the professions in the world. The quality of education in any educational institute hinges on the availability of good teachers. A good teacher not only shows the right path that the students should follow but also prepares the human resource for the further development of the nation. Remuneration:

Primary School Teachers: Grade-I: Rs. 7,500-12,000, Grade-II: Rs. 7,450-11,500,

Post Graduate Teachers: Grade-I: Rs. 10,000-15,200, Grade-II: Rs. 8,000-13,500

Remuneration will vary according to the qualification and according to the state.
